- Jack Gillogly has followed Eels since the day he was born
- This week I chose Dylan Brown’s signature as a thigh tattoo
- Gillogly, 24, even has one podcast talk all about football
Footy fans aren’t shy when it comes to their heroes – and then there’s tragic Parramatta Jack Gillogly, who now has a permanent reminder of star five-eighth Dylan Brown on his body.
Gillogly, 24, has followed the Eels since birth, and his passion for the blue and gold reached a new level this week.
The budding entrepreneur visited a tattoo parlor on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast – and his choice of ink on his thigh was unique, to say the least.
‘This year I got Dylan’s autograph during Magic Round [in Brisbane] so this has been seven months in the making,” he told Ny Breaking Australia on Saturday.
‘One of my favorite sayings when watching Parra – and Dylan – is ‘go yourself Dylbags’ when he has the ball in hand.
“So it made sense to get that as a tattoo [on my thigh] Once I was able to get his autograph…I just had to get it done.”

It also had the accompanying message: ‘Yes Jack mate.’
Gillogly stated that he had ‘no choice’ but to follow the Eels as a youngster.
“My dad had me in Eels gear about ten minutes after I was born,” he said.
“I was at the grand final against the Knights in 2001 but I can’t remember [thankfully].
“I watched the 2009 and 2022 deciders at home… they were both tough games.
‘Next year I think everything will go well. I will miss Gutho [departed fullback Clint Gutherson] but every team with Dylan and Mitch [Moses] must be competitive.
“Jason Ryles as our new coach is also exciting… it could be the start of something big.”
Parramatta begin their 2025 NRL campaign with a tough away trip to face the Melbourne Storm on March 9.
