Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly ‘made contact’ with Dusan Vlahovic and could sign the Juventus striker if Kylian Mbappé leaves the club.

The future of the France winger has been thrown into uncertainty after he became embroiled in a contractual deadlock with the Parisians following his revelation that he intends to run out the remainder of his contract before leaving next year.

PSG has also been told by former director Leonardo in recent days that he must dump this summer’s World Cup winner “for the good of the club”.

And it seems that Luis Enrique’s side has wasted no time looking for a replacement Le Parisian now claims Vlahovic is the ‘main target’ for the Ligue 1 champions, while Italian football journalist Alfredo Pedulla believes PSG ‘serious contacts made’ to sign the forward.

However, the French club is not the only team to do this. Mail Sport reported yesterday that Mauricio Pochettino saw a possible move to bring the Serb to Chelsea as the Argentina coach looks set to add some more firepower at the top.

The London team look set to lose striker Romelu Lukaku this summer too, who will not appear for pre-season training in Cobham tomorrow, as the Belgian looks to secure a move to Inter Milan.

According to Pedulla, PSG would have to make a bid of around £63 million to convince Max Allegri’s side to part ways with Vlahovic.

But Juventus are willing to strike a deal with Chelsea and could sell the 23-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 27 league games last season, for £21 million if the Blues sign Lukaku in an exchange deal.

Last season was a particularly disappointing one for the former Fiorentina striker, who has been linked with the London team for the past month despite Juventus leaders claiming he was not for sale.

He signed for the club in 2022 in a £62 million deal, turning down a move to Arsenal in favor of the Bianconeri, who are now eyeing West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca as a possible replacement, according to a journalist. Gianluca Dimarziowas Vlahovic allowed to leave the club.

Scamacca, like Vlahovic, also signed for his club in 2022, but a knee injury ruled him out for much of last season. West Ham now gave the Italian the green light to leave the club.

His agents are reportedly working on a transfer to AS Roma, while Inter Milan were also keen to sign him earlier this year.
