The 1.70-meter French President Emmanuel Macron is almost impossible to spot in a group photo of world leaders in Paris for the Olympic Games.
Macron and his wife Brigitte today held a reception at the Élysée Palace for fellow heads of state, royals and government officials from around the world before the Games began.
Attendees include Prime Minister Keir Starmer, US First Lady Jill Biden, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco, King Felipe of Spain, King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark, and King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium.
Other guests include Cameroon President Paul Biya and his wife Chantal, Argentina President Javier Milei, Qatari Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and his wife Sheikha, Bhutan Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck and Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic.

Former swimmer Princess Charlene of Monaco, who competed in the Olympics 24 years ago, was the picture of glamour in a dark pastel jumpsuit, paired with a silver clutch and heels. She styled her short blonde locks in a chic updo.
Elsewhere, her husband Albert, 66, made a statement in a colorful red jacket and matching striped tie.
Queen Mary of Denmark shone in a white dress and red jacket, while her husband opted for a navy blue suit.
Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium also looked their best ahead of the festivities.
The mother of four opted for a bright red button-down dress, which she paired with bright red stilettos.

The Olympic Games officially kicked off tonight, marking the first time in the event’s history that the Games will not be held in a stadium.
Instead, the event will take place outside a closed stadium, with Paris hosting an unprecedented water parade in honour of the Olympic Games.
