Paris Jackson reveals that internet trolls tell her to kill herself if she doesn’t wish her father Michael a happy birthday on social media

Paris Jackson has revealed that if she doesn’t post online tributes to her late father on his birthday, trolls are telling her to kill herself.

The 25-year-old singer opened up about the cruel messages she’s been receiving online as she spoke about her father Michael Jackson’s legacy on what would have been his 65th birthday on Aug. 29.

Michael’s death in June 2009, at age 50, was caused by cardiac arrest brought on by a massive accidental overdose of the hospital sedative propofol.

Paris explained that when her father was alive, he didn’t like celebrating his birthday and didn’t even want his children to know when it was.

She told fans in an Instagram video posted Tuesday: “So today is my dad’s birthday, and when he was alive he hated everyone who acknowledged his birthday, wished him a happy birthday, celebrated it, nothing like that .

“He didn’t really want us to know when his birthday was because he didn’t want us to have a party.

“If you don’t wish someone a happy birthday on social media, it apparently means you don’t love them, you don’t care about them.

“There have been times when I didn’t post anything for my dad’s birthday and people went crazy. They tell me to commit suicide.

“And they’re basically measuring my love for my own dad based on what I post on Instagram.”

Paris then shared footage of herself on stage opening for rock band Incubus at the Las Colonias Park Amphitheater in Grand Junction, Colorado, earlier on Tuesday.

She announced to the crowd that it was her father’s 65th birthday, to which the audience cheered.

Paris told them, “He put fifty years of blood, sweat and tears, love and passion into what he did so that I can stand here on stage for you guys and shout into a microphone, so I’m all about him to thank. ‘

The actress and musician also called on fans to be kind in the caption of her Instagram post on Jackson’s birthday.

She said, “Please don’t use a man you’ve never met as an excuse to abuse, manipulate and harass his daughter (who you’ve also never met). LOVE (red heart emoji)’.

While Paris honored her father on social media, her two brothers – Prince Jackson, 26, and Dean ‘Bigi’ Jackson, 21, were spotted together in Las Vegas.

The duo were spotted photographing with fans and signing autographs at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Sin City after a Michael Jackson-themed Cirque du Soleil performance.

Jackson had Prince and Paris with ex-wife Debbie Rowe, to whom he was married from November 1996 to April 2000.

The singer said in the 2003 documentary “Living with Michael Jackson” that Deken was conceived through a surrogate mother, though the woman’s identity was never revealed.

Jackson — whose estate has been marred by a string of child molestation allegations — was also married to Lisa Marie Presley from May 1994 to August 1996, but the couple never had children.
