A man who was a former co-owner of Paris Hilton nightclub in Orlando has been arrested and charged with arranging the murder of a documentary filmmaker.
The 51-year-old Fereidoun Khalilian apparently tried to have the filmmaker, who had previously worked for him, killed because he had made a documentary about him that he believed to be negative.
Khalilian, who goes by the name ‘Prince Fred’, describes himself as an entertainment agent and entrepreneur on his Instagram account, which has more than 235,000 followers.
He did business with Hilton in the mid-2000s when they co-owned Club Paris in Orlando.
The club, which had its own bedroom and was decorated in bright pink colors, was sold to Dior Entertainment and closed in 2007.

When Hilton was asked about her partner in 2005, she said, “His first name is Fred. I can’t spell his last name.’
Further details about the attempted murder-for-hire have not been made public, nor has the name of the filmmaker been released, according to the LA times.
Hilton has not commented on the murder-for-hire allegations.
However, Khalilian has a history with the law.
He was arrested in both 2005 and 2007 on charges of sexual assault and assault, with one of the Club Paris associates accusing him.
‘I am a diplomat. You can’t arrest me. I own Club Paris,” he allegedly said TMZ.
He later pleaded no battery offense in November 2007 and was sentenced to one year’s probation and 200 hours of community service.

Khalilian also ran into trouble during his time at Monster, an audio company that partnered with rapper Dr. Dre to sell the Beats By Dre product.
According to him, his associates have applied for a restraining order against him Fortunefor allegedly making ‘threats of mutilation, death and threats to family’.
CEO Noel Lee said when they brought him in that Khalilian was a “genius” but that “an acquired taste, because you don’t know what to think of him when you first meet him.”
