Paris Hilton Says She Still ‘Loves’ Pink Despite Being Mocked For Her Sex Tape In Stupid Girls Music Video

Paris Hilton’s world came crashing down in the early 2000s when a sex tape she filmed with her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon was released without her consent.

The tape made the 42-year-old hotel heiress a cultural joke for years, and in 2006 Pink cruelly parodied her in the music video for their single Stupid Girls.

Now, almost 20 years later, the businesswoman has ruled on Hot nights with Abbie Chatfield about how she felt to be ridiculed so publicly by another high-profile woman.

When host Abbie Chatfield asked how Hilton felt about the evolving ‘narrative’ surrounding her sex tape, which was filmed when she was just 19 by a man 13 years her senior, she said it was ‘definitely time for a change’. .

Many younger feminists no longer see the tape as a “scandal”, instead viewing Hilton as a victim, even though her notoriety helped launch her reality TV career.

The public image of 42-year-old Paris Hilton (pictured) collapsed in the early 2000s when a sex tape she made with ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon was released without her consent.

“I’ve seen so many changes,” Hilton said, before turning her attention to the Stupid Girls clip.

‘I love pink. I think her music is amazing. She has always been nice to me. But you know that video hurt my feelings, the music video,” she said.

Hilton continued: “But that was so long ago that I’m happy that times are finally changing and people are seeing how women shouldn’t be treated that way, the way the media treated me.”

In the music video for Stupid Girls, the American singer dressed in different outfits and overacted to make fun of certain types of women she considered “stupid.”

The socialite was brutally mocked in the media and was even cruelly parodied by Pink, 43, (pictured) in her Stupid Girls music video released in 2006.

Later in the clip, she was seen wearing a blonde wig as she frolicked in bed with a man while the camera was on night vision mode.

It was clear that he was making fun of Hilton, whose tape was filmed in part in night vision.

Hilton became world famous in the early 2000s when she starred in the first reality show of its kind, The Simple Life, with Nicole Richie.

She adopted a ‘clueless rich girl’ persona for the hit show, also keeping the character off-screen.

Hilton has just published a book titled Paris the Memoir, in which she reveals the darker details of her life and confesses that the ‘dumb blonde’ persona was an act.

Now, nearly 20 years later, the successful businesswoman appeared on Hot Nights with 27-year-old Abbie Chatfield (pictured) on Monday to discuss her performance as the punk singer. “I love Pink…but you know that video hurt my feelings, the music video,” she said.
