Paris Hilton jokes that she doesn’t understand venture capitalist Carter Reum’s job: ‘He works so hard, just don’t ask me what he does’
Paris Hilton joked online about not understanding what exactly her businessman husband Carter Reum does for a living.
She ended up on TIkTok with a sound byte by Australian comedian Chris Lilley, who played the role of spoiled teenager Ja’mie King.
In Paris’ video, she sits on the couch confused as she reads text: “When someone asks me what my venture capitalist husband does at work.”
The 42-year-old imitated Ja’mie’s drawl: “…always traveling around, like that, he – I don’t know what he does exactly, but it’s like he works so hard.”
“He works so hard, just don’t ask me what he does,” Paris joked in her caption, adding a crying laughing emoji and a heart.

He and Paris are the proud parents of a 10-month-old son named Phoenix, whose birth via surrogate they joyfully announced in January.
Paris’ crazy Instagram comes after she candidly revealed that ‘a lot of balancing’ has gone into her ability to balance her career and her baby.
“I always make Phoenix my first priority, and I’ve learned how to say no,” she said People,” called her son “my everything” and noted that “I always put him first.”
She explained, “I say no to things all the time because I just want to spend as much time with him as possible, and I just don’t want to miss any of these special moments in his life and all these milestones.”
Paris was initially studiously private about her baby, waiting until a month after the birth announcement to even reveal his name.
She and Carter hid the baby’s birth from even their immediate families until just before she announced the news on social media.

“My whole life has been so public,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. ‘I’ve never had anything for myself. We decided we wanted to have this whole experience to ourselves.”
While the surrogate mother was in labor, Paris was so determined to protect her privacy that she even went to the trouble of disguising herself with a dark brown wig and reporting to the hospital under an alias.
Her decision was especially notable given her close relationship with her family, especially her sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild and her mother Kathy Hilton.
However, in November, tension between mother and daughter flared when Kathy let loose E! News that IVF had been a ‘struggle’ for Paris.
“I don’t know where she got that from,” Paris shot back TMZ job interview the next day. “It’s never been a struggle at all.”
When Paris announced the arrival of her firstborn child, all she said was, “You are already loved beyond words,” in a photo of the baby’s hand holding Paris’ finger.
In an episode of her podcast This is Parisshe said Phoenix was “over a week old” before telling Kathy and Nicky about his birth.
