Paris Hilton donates $100K to LA fire victims and launches emergency fund after her Malibu home burned down

Paris Hilton launched an emergency fund and donated $100,000 to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires after losing her own home in Malibu.

On Friday, the 43-year-old socialite took her along Instagram page to announce that through her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact, she has established an emergency fund to support families and their pets displaced by the devastating fires.

In addition to her major donation, Hilton revealed that she will “match additional dollars raised up to an additional $100,000” and plans to volunteer in person this weekend.

The mother of two wrote, “My heart is with everyone affected by the devastating fires here in LA. Although I have lost my home in Malibu, my thoughts go out to the countless families who have lost so much more: their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability.

“As a mother, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies, so I’m launching an emergency fund through my nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to support displaced families with young children.

“I will start with a personal contribution of $100,000, and will match the additional dollars raised up to an additional $100,000. I’m looking for others who would like to donate and match alongside me to do our part!’

She also said the fund would provide cash assistance to families, provide temporary housing, provide essential supplies and work closely with animal shelters to care for displaced pets.

The caption continued: ‘Together our donations will support our young families and pets to: provide cash assistance to families through emergency response organization @coreresponse, provide short-term housing and hotel stays for families with little ones, provide essential supplies and supplies for evacuation centers (I’m going volunteering this weekend) [and] supporting local animal shelters that work tirelessly to protect displaced pets.

“This effort couldn’t be possible without collaboration and a sense of urgency: I’m extremely grateful to partner with @agmarks13 to mobilize private women funders to support this effort so we can start today with $200,000, @ coreresponse for distributing cash assistance to our families as they meet their needs, @Baby2Baby for distributing much-needed supplies for babies and young children and more.

“Let’s come together for LA. Every dollar makes a difference, and we will ensure support reaches those who need it most. Visit the link in my bio to help #SlivingTogether #1111Family.”

More than 100,000 residents of the City of Angels were forced to flee their homes and 10 died as scattered fires continued to crop up across Southern California.

And some A-listers have already lost their multimillion-dollar homes in devastating ways.

Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore and Jen Atkin are among those whose homes were destroyed by the untameable inferno.

She and her husband, Carter Reum, 43, owned the home for nearly four years before it was destroyed Wednesday in the Palisades fire.

According to Realtor.com, the couple purchased the 3,000-square-foot, three-bedroom beachfront home for $8.4 million in June 2021.

Hilton – who shares two one-year-old children with her husband – said she was “heartbroken beyond words” amid the damaging bushfires.

“We made so many precious memories in this house,” Paris said via Instagram. “It’s where Phoenix took its first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.”

She continued, “Although the loss is overwhelming, I hold on to the gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers go out to all the families affected by these fires.

‘To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories and their beloved pets. My heart aches for those who are still in danger or mourning greater losses.”

The vixen — who recently made headlines for her political efforts — said that “the devastation is unimaginable” and “to know that so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.”

She said members of her 11:11 Media Impact Team are “reaching out to nonprofits today to find out how we can best support the communities affected by these fires” and “remain committed to providing relief as quickly as possible and make a meaningful difference’. for those who need it most.”

“Let us protect each other and hold on to the hope that these fires will soon be brought under control. Sending so much love and strength to you all. We’re in this together, LA. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.”

Sources told TMZ that the house that burned down in the fire was not the “main residence” that the hotel heiress lives in, as she owns “several properties,” including a mansion in Beverly Hills.
