Paris Fury shakes her head in dismay as she reacts to husband Tyson’s defeat by Oleksandr Usyk – after boxer revealed he hadn’t spoken to her in three months while training for clash
Paris Fury could not hide her disappointment as she reacted to her husband Tyson Fury’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Saturday.
The mother-of-seven, 35, traveled to Saudi Arabia for the fight, seven months after their first bout, which saw the Ukrainian, 37, hand the Gypsy King the first defeat of his professional career.
The 36-year-old boxer claimed earlier this week that he had not spoken to his wife or their children in three months as he locked himself away from his training camp this time to stay focused on the fight.
But after his dedication failed to pay off, there was dismay when Tyson lost to Oleksandr for the second time in a row.
The internet personality looked tense as she stood in the stands awaiting the results, and began smiling and clapping encouragement as the announcer addressed the crowd, pronouncing “Tyson.”
However, her smile soon turned to a frown as the judges scored the match 116-112 in Oleksandr’s favor, and she shook her head in visible disappointment.

Tyson was also perplexed by the result and seemingly demanded to see the scorecards after they were read.
When he stormed out of the ring without doing a post-fight interview, he was comforted by Paris.

Tyson’s goal in the rematch was to claim the unified heavyweight titles, after Oleksandr won a split decision in May to become the division’s first undisputed champion in 24 years.
But now Oleksandr is still defending the gold against the Gypsy King as he outsmarted the boxer for a second time to retain his heavyweight title.
Paris’ dejected response comes after she addressed Tyson’s claims that he isolated himself from his family for three months as he locked himself away from his training camp ahead of the rematch.
Speaking about his pre-match training camp, Tyson told TNT Sports host Dev Sahni: “It’s been a long camp. I’ve been away from my wife and children for three months, I haven’t spoken to Paris at all for three months, not a word. Yes, I have sacrificed a lot.’
Speaking to IFLtv, Paris opened up about the situation, explaining: ‘It’s true. After the last fight, everything that happened personally in our lives and Tyson had the outcome of the last time, he decided this on his own and I had to support him.

‘He didn’t want to get involved in family life, he has closed himself off in recent months, putting himself in a serious condition and he looks very determined.
“If it’s meant to be, God willing, it will all come true tomorrow night and it will all be good and worthwhile.”
She admitted: ‘It was very difficult, I can’t lie. I supported him in the decision, but it is not the best not to talk to your husband for a long time.
“But I look at him, it was the first time I saw him yesterday, we still haven’t spoken. I sat 10 feet away from him and we barely made eye contact, but I can see in my heart that it paid off.”
The last time Tyson was away for training, Paris suffered a tragic miscarriage and on the eve of his fight against Oleksandr in May, she selflessly endured the pain of having to give birth to a dead child alone so the boxer could concentrate on his fight.
He ultimately lost the fight and surrendered his WBC world heavyweight title to the Ukrainian boxer, before returning to England and realizing his worst fears had been confirmed.
Tyson told The Mirror: “When she said she couldn’t come over [to Riyadh]I knew there was a problem. She usually comes out during fight week, but she said she had high blood pressure.
He added that [Saudi boxing chief] Turki Alalshikh offered to transport them in a private jet and said he would take the doctor with him.

He explained: ‘She said she couldn’t come and I asked her what was wrong and asked her to tell me but she didn’t want to.
“So I knew, I knew there was a problem. I told my brother, ‘She lost that baby.’ She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.”
Tyson added that he “wasn’t making excuses,” but that his wife had to “physically give birth to a dead child” while he was abroad.
He said: ‘I’ve been with the woman longer than I’ve been away from her, so it’s hard that I couldn’t be with her during that time. When I came back I got the inevitable confirmation that it was gone, but she kept it to herself.’
Tyson and Paris have seven children together: three daughters and four sons, ages one to fifteen years old.
The couple welcomed their first child, Venezuela Fury, in 2009, before their first son, Prince John James, was born in 2011.
They then welcomed Prince Tyson Fury II in 2016, Valencia Amber the following year and Prince Adonic Amaziah in 2019.
Youngest daughter Athena arrived in 2021, while they welcomed their newest bundle of joy to the clan, Prince Rico, last September.
