If you just got up, you’ve already missed an action.
The River Seine was the scene of the men’s 10km marathon swim this morning, with two Britons in action.
One of them was Hector Pardoe, who was looking for redemption after his elimination in Tokyo three years ago.
And he did it brilliantly.
After a grueling battle, Pardoe finished in sixth place in one of the most entertaining open water races in ages.
Meanwhile, Toby Robinson from Great Britain finished in 14th place.
It was a great ad for marathon swimming. If you saw any of it, you must have laughed.
But I don’t want to step into a dirty river for now.
