“I begged her to move in and let me take care of her. It was very sad for me to leave home because I love my mother.
‘It was never my intention to upset her. She now lives under my roof.
“Although she knows my career pays for this luxury, we don’t talk about it and I know it’s hard for her pride to accept the money, but I’m glad we found a compromise.
‘My father is still strongly against my work and wants me to change my career. He doesn’t live with us and I only speak to him occasionally.’
Aishah’s current life of luxury is a far cry from her childhood, when her parents struggled to make ends meet.
She grew up in a small house in Miami, which she shared with her mother, father and two brothers.
Her father was a dental assistant, while Maria worked in a hospital.
Both her parents, who are now divorced, hoped their daughter would follow in their footsteps and work in the medical field.
After Aishah heard that her mother was struggling to pay her bills, she contacted Maria and offered her the opportunity to live in the house that her work paid for.

“My upbringing was very different from that of my classmates,” none of whom were religious.
“I went to church a lot when I was younger, we went at least once a week.”
The 22-year-old’s journey to financial independence and online fame first started when she joined a gym at the age of 16.
