Previously, baby name experts from name berry shared 23 baby names that are predicted to be ‘rising stars’ in 2023, and there are some unusual nicknames on the list.
The team at parenting website Nameberry highlighted some traditional names, including Louise and Archie, as well as completely unexpected options like Luxury, Yuna, and Marigold.
First on the list was the boys name Alden, but many Nameberry experts said that it works for both a girl and a baby boy.
“I’ve seen quite a few parents lately considering this beautiful name, mostly for their sons, but it could easily work for a girl as well,” Nameberry said.
They added that the name Alden feels “charming, understated, old-school, and a little woodsy.”
Similarly, experts highlighted Archie as an option that is growing in popularity, not least thanks to the influence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s eldest son.
