A boy has been arrested and charged with assault after allegedly attacking a woman walking down the street in daylight.
The 14-year-old is said to have approached the woman on Neville Avenue, in Para Vista, in Adelaide’s north, about 7.30pm on Monday to ask for directions.
He then tried to drag her to nearby bushes before the woman started screaming.

The boy ran away and the woman was not injured.
The 14-year-old was arrested at a house in the same suburb on Tuesday evening and charged with indecent assault.
He was granted bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on April 5.
