Pamela Anderson looks back on her high-profile life in her new memoir Love, Pamela, due out later this month.

In a new excerpt shared by PeopleThe Baywatch actress, 55, opened up about the two children she has with ex-husband Tommy Lee: Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25.

The Playboy pin-up called it a “miracle” that the two boys, who grew up in Malibu, California, turned out well considering their “genetic pool.”

“Brandon and Dylan are true miracles, considering their gene pool,” he said in his book to tell it all.

She was married to Tommy from 1995 to 1998 and their marriage was the focus of a new series Pam & Tommy that has brought Anderson back into the spotlight.

The Home Improvement actress said her children have had to put up with a lot: “They’ve been through a lot, but they’re not full of holes,” added the Barb Wire star.

She feels that her divorce with Lee was a very sad thing for them.

‘I think we really let our children down. And that’s something that’s very hard to forgive myself for,’ the blonde beauty noted.
