Palworld players warn of a Pal-stealing hack as developers apologize for the cheat problem

Nefarious Palworld players are causing chaos on the game’s public servers. On Thursday, Palworld developer Pocketpair posted an apology on the game’s Steam page and promised to “focus even more on security” in an effort to Palworld of his fraud problem. While Pocketpair has confirmed fraud on its official server, it noted that it is difficult to prevent all fraud “immediately,” although it will release a patch “as soon as it is ready.”

“We will continue to focus even more on safety and strive to create an environment where everyone can play with confidence,” wrote a Pocketpair representative on Steam. “We sincerely apologize to all players affected by this incident. Thank you for your continued support of Palworld.”

Pocketpair’s apology comes next Palworld players have taken to social media and forums to warn other players about exploits, including a hack that reportedly lets players steal tamed friends. Some players believe that special exploitation is due to an unreleased item, the radar ball, which is produced in the game.
