Paige VanZant claims Dillon Danis asked her to ‘peg him’ as her husband challenges him to fight

UFC fighter and OnlyFans model Paige VanZant has claimed she was asked to ‘pin’ Dillon Danis by the controversial MMA fighter when her husband challenged him to a fight following allegations she had committed adultery.

On Thursday, VanZant took to Instagram to fire back directly at Danis, when the former submission grappler shared a post on after claiming he’s not a “real fighter” during an interview for her upcoming Misfits boxing match against Elle Brooke.

The 30-year-old VanZant alluded to Danis on Wednesday when asked about her transition from MMA to boxing. Danis boxed once against American YouTuber Logan Paul in October 2023 and lost by disqualification.

His claim that he could ruin VanZant’s six-year marriage to Austin Vanderford on social media obviously didn’t bode well for the 34-year-old Bellator MMA fighter.

“Dillon, dude…” Vanderford shared on Instagram. ‘Let’s just fight. Paige’s comments seemed to upset you. We are the same weight. We can box or do whatever you want.”

On Wednesday, Dannis claimed VanZant had previously cheated on her husband in Las Vegas

Vanderford challenged Danis to a fight after he went public with the allegations, also on Wednesday.

However, it doesn’t appear VanZant needed protection from her husband as she responded to Danis’ adultery claims with a recorded video of herself on Instagram on Thursday.

“Yo, I noticed there’s a certain clown on Instagram named Dillon Danis trying to talk some shit and start some drama,” the 30-year-old content creator initially said: before telling her fans said, “So let’s go, right?!”

She then added, “So, Dillon…I clearly said, ‘You’re not a real fighter.’ I’m sorry if I triggered you. I understand that hurt your feelings. But instead of coming back and just talking about me, and saying I’m not a real judge, what have you done…

“You screwed yourself up a bit, didn’t you? You’ve backed yourself into a corner because now you have to come up with proof of this ”alleged affair”, right? Because the only time I remember seeing you in Vegas was at the UFC athletes retreat. You walked up to me in a bar, asked me to put you in front of several other UFC fighters and I laughed at you.

‘That’s not the definition of a relationship, is it? And starting drama on the internet, trying to fight my husband, there are definitely better ways to deal with that. Ugh, he has three things that you will absolutely never have. One: a woman. Two friends. And third, a real MMA resume, so Dillon, I’m sorry to hurt your feelings, but when you’re a piece of s**t the way you are, it’s pretty easy.

Danis retired from his fighting career last year when Logan Paul defeated him in boxing

During the build-up to his boxing match against Paul, Danis shared photos of his fiancée Nina Agdal on social media. She filed a lawsuit and got a restraining order

Danis is known for his erratic and ruthless behavior in the ring, but also on social media. In 2018, he was involved in a fight at UFC 229 after Khabib Nurmagomedov threw his mouthpiece, then climbed the cage and appeared to jump at him.

Danis responded by throwing punches at Nurmagomedov before an all-out brawl ensued. He was subsequently fined $7,500 and suspended for seven months after the incident.

During the lead-up to his boxing match with Logan Paul in October 2023, Danis continuously shared images of Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal on social media.

Agdal filed a lawsuit and on September 8, she was granted a temporary restraining order.
