It remains to be seen whether Spiranac appears in that shoot or enjoys her own separate collaboration with the magazine.

The social media sensation previously starred on the cover of SI Swimsuit in 2018, when she admitted it helped her deal with suicidal thoughts.

‘Finally I have taken back what is mine. I took my body back, I took my sexuality back and, “You guys want to see sexy? I’m going to do sexy and I’m going to do it my way,” she said.

“It was really liberating to be myself and not feel like I’m less than anyone else, or that I haven’t accomplished anything, or that I’m a slut, or that my parents hate me or all those things that people call . me every day and really embrace this sexy side and be confident and love who I am and love the skin I’m in.”

Spiranac spent a year as a professional golfer before throwing in the towel after admitting to being ‘mentally exhausted’.

Since then, the 30-year-old has done her utmost to become one of the most famous social media influencers in the sport.

“Instead of sitting down and feeling sorry for myself, I picked myself up and threw myself into my media work,” she said last year.

‘My background of just grinding, hard work has helped me enormously in my media career, because I work so very hard.

“And the difference is that the harder I work, the more successful I’ve become and I think that’s why it’s been a more fulfilling journey for me than professional golf… the outcome has been positive.”
