Paige Spiranac slams critics of LIV Golf circus in Adelaide as fans lose it over her X-rated top

Golf’s glamor girl Paige Spiranac has taken issue with critics of Adelaide’s hugely successful LIV tournament, insisting that ‘fun is allowed and should be encouraged’ at sporting events – but fans preferred to focus on her very risquĆ© choice of clothing.

The influencer and former professional golfer enjoyed the inaugural LIV Australia tournament at Grange Golf Club last weekend, which saw more than 90,000 spectators take to the course.

The Rebel League has been widely criticized for being funded by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, which was established in 1971 for the purpose of investing on behalf of the government.

Many have also objected to the party atmosphere at the event, which resulted in wild scenes as fans soaked up the music and enjoyed more than a few drinks at the so-called ‘pub’ – but Spiranac isn’t one of them.

“It was exciting, but what’s frustrating is all the recordings I saw on social media,” she said in a video posted to Twitter that she quickly deleted.

ā€œPeople said too much music, too much fun. When did too much fun become a bad thing?

“They were like, ‘OK, now you’re an adult, you’ve got responsibilities, a job you probably hate, you have to get married, have kids, financial burdens, and on top of that, no more fun.’ It is ridiculous.

‘Fun can and should be encouraged, especially at sporting events. That’s why we go, to be entertained.

And let’s face it, it’s golf, it’s not that serious. They don’t save lives or form ghosts. They chase a ball around and hit it with sticks, trying to get it into a hole.

“Whether you love LIV or hate LIV, you have to admit the event looked so much fun and all in all it’s good for the golf game.”

Spiranac has taken the sport by storm, posting glamorous photos on the golf course in petite, form-fitting skirts and low-cut tops and amassing 3.7 million Instagram followers, earning the title of “sexiest woman alive” from Maxim magazine .

Many fans agreed with her stance on the “fun” aspect of LIV events, but others couldn’t ignore her cheeky T-shirt, which read, “Not only am I funny (I have fun t***ies too!” !). ‘

“Great shirt, forget the wave,” one Twitter user replied.

The influencer recently revealed that her meteoric rise to fame in golf has come at a price.

Spiranac said in a Q&A on Instagram last month that she’d be “so down” to play a match with either Tiger Woods or Tom Brady, but revealed she’d shielded herself from the rumor mill.

She claimed that “disgusting sexual” rumors circulated every time she worked with a man, which made her feel as though she couldn’t participate in certain events.

“One thing people don’t talk about as a woman in a male-dominated industry, whether it’s golf or the sports industry, is that every time I’m satisfied with another man there are rumors and comments, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff. ,’ Spiranac said.
