Golf glamor girl Paige Spiranac shared an honest assessment of her skills as she talked about her struggles as a golfer.
Despite her popularity as an influencer, Spiranac continues to work on improving her golf game, especially in recent weeks. Spiranac has been working with a coach and monitoring her progress.
In a recent Instagram Story, she revealed which part of the game she particularly struggles with, sharing a video of her swing.
Spiranac explained how she broke through with her takeaway business and things haven’t looked any better.
“I’ve always struggled with my takeout,” Spiranac wrote. “The best it’s ever looked.”

In the same slide, Spiranac tagged her coach, Jonathan Yarwood, who has reportedly been crucial to her progress.
Three weeks earlier, Spirananc revealed that her drive for progress comes from a desire to fall in love with the sport again. Although she doesn’t necessarily want to play professionally, the influencer revealed that she missed the passion she once had for golf.
“I played junior golf, college golf and one year professionally. After that stretch, I mentally couldn’t handle playing golf and especially keeping score,” she told Fox News.
“I equated my score with my self-worth,” she continued. “I know it sounds strange, but competitive golf has really let me down emotionally.”

Although the journey was challenging, Spiranac said she rediscovered her passion. She added that she was “grinding” and keeping track of her scores.
In addition to following Yarwood’s mentorship, Spiranac said she was able to work with Bryson DeChambeau on a number of aspects to improve her.
