Paige Spiranac connected with Bryson DeChambeau when the social media influencer asked him a very daring question in front of both groups of fans, as the LIV player had the perfect answer for her.

The pair spent time together in the Bahamas on Friday as Spiranac posted regular updates from her hilarious Instagram Q&A with the one-big champion’.

When asked about the length of the longest drive he’s ever made, DeChambeau said 419 yards, with little to no hesitation. In terms of the fastest ball speed he has achieved so far in his eight-year career, he answered: 190 mph.

If he had to give his “best advice” to any aspiring golfers looking to build a more consistent swing, DeChambeau would recommend checking out his recent YouTube videos where he provides techniques to “sit the golf ball a little bit more.”

“Don’t hit the big ball until you hit the small ball,” he added. ‘Small ball, before big ball.’

“No, Brooks (Koepka) and I are friends now,” the 30-year-old one-time major champion replied, referring to Koepka's LIV Golf team

DeChambeau, who was busy answering Spiranac’s questions, then offered a fresh approach to how the game could evolve when asked what rule he would add or remove from golf, if he could.

“Add a rule that you can avoid a divot on the fairway,” he said. If a player’s ball is in the general area and there is interference due to an abnormal course condition on the course, the player is generally allowed free relief by dropping the original ball or another ball in this relief area.

Spiranac then teased the 30-year-old California native by asking him if he still has nightmares about his hilarious collision with a gallery rope at LIV Golf’s 2022 Chicago Invitational, to which DeChambeau jokingly replied: all the time. Always. (…) I had to go to the hospital, but I’m fine.’

DeChambeau then trolled Spiranac when he answered “who” to her question about what he had to say about her shading him over the years.

“Ask Bryson if he wants to smash,” Spiranac later asked the 2020 US Open champion.

“No, Brooks (Koepka) and I are friends now,” he said, referring to the five-time major winner’s LIV team.

Spiranac later thanked DeChambeau for meeting them on X, formerly Twitter.

‘Gotta give credit to @b_dechambeau! I’ve made fun of him publicly in the past, but in person he was nothing but kind, funny, and self-deprecating. Completely the opposite of how I’ve perceived him over the years. And you’d think I should know better, because it happens to me every day.

“I’m glad you’re seeing the content we recorded and it’s an opportunity for you to get to know both of us better. Available soon.’

Last month, DeChambeau insisted that LIV would overtake the PGA Tour to become golf’s dominant force, while labeling previous statements from the latter as “political” and “disappointing.”
