Paddy McGuinness explodes into foul-mouthed outburst on Celebrity Great British Bake Off

The Celebrity Great British Bake Off tent turned blue in the forthcoming fourth episode, as Paddy McGuinness kicked off with a foul-mouthed breakdown.

The TV presenter and funny man, 49, stunned his co-stars when he started swearing after his bin went wrong – leading to an explosive conversation with Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan.

Paddy was particularly upset when he started having problems with his food, but seemed determined not to be defeated by a bump in the road.

When the cracks became visible, Coleen, 58, looked at his workplace and said, ‘What the hell is that?’ – an input that was not appreciated by the Top Gear host.

He hit back: “Isn’t that nice? That’s encouraging. “What the hell is that?”, before taking off his oven mitts and checking what was wrong with his gingerbread.

Paddy then made a crude joke about a ‘shaft’ saying, ‘The shaft has collapsed. Story of my life,” before taking his tray out of the oven and despairingly: “No no no, that’s not good. I don’t know what to do.’

The lineup includes Paddy, Coleen, Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas and Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor.

Stars who have appeared on the show to date include David Schwimmer, Jesy Nelson and many other superstars, who have helped raise funds.

In another dramatic twist, last month, Friends actor David, 56, was tasked with making a meringue centerpiece as part of the showstopper challenge.

But when it comes to construction, he has an unusual way of fixing and assembling his own.

While frantically spraying his bunny creation with something from a can, the American says, “Come on freeze spray, do your thing!” He then turns to the camera and explains, “I’m going to freeze it and hopefully that will be the glue.”

Later in the show, David was seen trying to lift his fragile bunny with a huge silver slab, but is unable to do so as one of the ears promptly breaks off.

Cursing under his breath, the legendary star exhales a long, drawn breath as if to calm himself down.

Elsewhere, fellow actor Tom Davis, 43, has it just as chaotic as he tries to get his meringue out of a bowl.

The Plebs actor comments, “This is a nightmare. I’m worried, I’m not going to lie. Yes, this isn’t going to work, I can already feel it cracking.’

He then takes his meringue bowl, flips it upside down and curses as he promptly bursts and breaks off a whole piece.

The celebrity special, in support of Stand Up To Cancer, features a total of 20 familiar faces who will all compete to become star bakers.

Celebrity Great British Bake Off airs Sundays at 7:40pm on Channel 4
