In the final game of Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary’s attempt was beaten by the Giants’ defensive line.
That block ended Rodgers with an injured thumb that has sidelined him this week — preventing him from training on Wednesday. Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show Tuesday and explained that he was still in pain from that hit.
Despite the injuries – and the absence – Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is not concerned about the health of the reigning MVP.
“I don’t think we’re too concerned about game day,” LaFleur told reporters at a news conference on Wednesday.

Although Rodgers had no training on Wednesday, coach Matt LaFleur is not worried
Rodgers completed 25 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns in London during their losing effort. He found longtime teammate Randall Cobb for seven catches and 99 yards as his main target.
The Packers have struggled to finish games all season, with each of their last three games decided by one score.
They will try to win in a more convincing way at home this Sunday against the New York Jets.
