Three children hit by a car on one of Australia’s busiest highways: ‘Serious condition’

Three children have reportedly been hit by a car on one of Sydney’s busiest roads.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday on the Pacific Highway on Sydney’s north coast.
Three boys aged 12, 13 and 14 were reportedly hit by a vehicle and suffered leg, hip and shoulder injuries.
It is clear that the 13-year-old boy has a broken leg.
Emergency services treated the children at the scene. They are believed to be in a serious condition.
Three children reportedly hit by a car on Sydney’s Pacific Highway
One boy was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital and the two other boys were rushed to Children’s Hospital, Westmead.
The Pacific Highway is closed southbound at Falcon St due to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian, according to Live Traffic.
“Two of three northbound lanes are also closed (lanes 2 and 3),” Live Traffic tweeted.
Southbound motorists turn left onto Falcon St. Motorists exiting Falcon St should turn left onto Pacific Hwy.’
Local buses are delayed by more than 30 minutes.
Motorists are urged to use an alternative route.
