A teenage P-plate driver escaped with her life after the car she had just bought burst into flames just minutes after she drove it out of the dealership.
Footage shows the second-hand Mazda bought by Hajar Yassini, 19, engulfed in flames on the side of Salisbury Highway to Adelaide on Tuesday.
She had ‘saved for years’ to afford the $5,000 car, which she bought from Commuter Cars Auto Repairs Wingfield, which is now under investigation.
The teenager said she smelled smoke before flames erupted from the engine which ‘kept getting bigger and bigger’.

About 15 minutes after leaving the concession, Ms Yassini pulled the car to the side of the road and tried to put out the flames before fleeing to a safe distance.
‘It was very scary because it was really a life-threatening situation,” she said he told 7News.
She claims Commuter Cars Auto Repairs has not responded to her complaints about the now wrecked car and now she is worried she won’t get a refund.
“He was telling us the car is fine, the engine is fine, everything is fine,” she said.
Since the incident, 7News reported that the man who sold Ms Yassini the car was “nowhere to be seen” when they visited the dealership.
When contacted, the man claimed that he had sold the car in a private capacity and not through business.
The business sign has been removed from the storefront and the gates remain closed.
The Consumer and Business Affairs Commissioner has launched an investigation into the sale.
The police say that the fire was caused by a mechanical fault.
Daily Mail Australia attempted to contact Commuter Cars Auto Repairs Wingfield, but the phone number has since been disconnected.
Ms Yassini is now worried she won’t get back the money she had ‘saved for years’
The person who sold the car to Ms Yassini told 7News he sold the car in a private capacity and not through the business she took it from (pictured), which is now under investigation into the incident.
