Ozzy Osbourne was spotted being helped into a wheelchair as he prepared to undergo surgery for the fourth time.
The rocker, 74, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003 before publicly announcing his diagnosis in January 2020, and suffered an accident.
Last year he underwent “life-changing” surgery to remove and realign a series of pins in his neck and back following a 2003 quad bike accident.
While in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Ozzy could be seen getting out of a car and into a wheelchair as a man wearing a face mask stood with his hands on the handles.
Ozzy revealed on a new episode of his family’s podcast, The Osbournes Podcast, that he has another surgery in the pipeline, bringing his total number of procedures since his 2019 fall to four.

He said, ‘My lower back is, I’m going for an epidural soon because what’s happening, what they’ve discovered is that the neck has been repaired, under the neck there are two vertebrae where the bike hit me and fell apart, there’s nothing left theirs,’
His son Jack Osbourne asked, “Do they fuse disks?”
Ozzy explained that he “didn’t know” what the medical professionals were going to do, but said, “All I know right now is that I’m in a lot of pain, I’m in a lot of discomfort.”
Ozzy recently said he’s “struggling through his health issues” and recently had a filter removed from his vein.
MailOnline has reached out to Ozzy’s representatives for comment.
It comes after the threat of blood clots hitting his major organs was reduced, with him admitting he was desperate to ‘get on with his life’.
On his Ozzy Speaks SiriusXM channel, he said, “I’m fighting through it, like last Monday, I went to have a filter removed.
‘When I had the blood clots in my legs, they put a filter in your vein to prevent the blood clots from going to your heart and brain. It sounds worse than it is. So on Monday I went to have it removed.
“The blood clots have you all stuck. It’s just disappointment after disappointment. Get this thing done so I can get on with my life.
Ozzy admitted he is in “constant pain” and added: “I feel like a man with one leg in a kicking ass match. The only thing that keeps me going is making records. But I can’t do that forever.
‘I have to get out of there. I’m still in constant pain. I’m doing my best to stay off the pain medication.’
The health update was his first since canceling his performance at California’s Power Trip Festival in October, which would have been his first appearance in five years.
Announcing the “painful” decision earlier this month, he said in a statement: “As painful as this is, I have had to make the decision to stop performing on Power Trip in October.
“My original plan was to be back on stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came through, I moved forward with optimism.
‘Unfortunately my body is telling me I’m just not ready yet and I’m way too proud that the first show I’m doing in almost five years is half a ****.
‘The band that will replace me on Power Trip will be announced soon. They are personal friends of mine and I can promise you will not be disappointed.
‘Above all, I would like to thank my fans, my band and my crew for their unconditional loyalty and continued support.
‘I love you all and I’ll see you again soon. God bless, Ozzy.”

To the delight of Ozzy’s devoted fans, AC/DC was announced alongside Metallica and Ozzy himself to headline a new festival called Power Trip, per Variety in March.
Other notable artists who will still take the stage include Guns N’ Roses, Tool and also Iron Maiden.
The festival will take place later this year in October in Indio, California, which is also home to the annual Coachella music festival.
The singer, who has been married to his wife Sharon Osbourne since 1982, announced earlier this year in February that he would officially retire from touring and released a heartfelt statement to express his decision.
He had stated at the time: ‘This is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to share with my loyal fans. As you may all know, four years ago this month I had a serious accident that damaged my spine.’ The star had fallen in a bathroom in 2019, injuring the vertebrae in his neck and requiring surgery.
‘My only goal at this time is to get back on the podium. My singing voice is fine,” he wrote, adding that his body is still physically weak after “three surgeries.”
“I am honestly humbled by the way you have patiently held onto your tickets all this time,” Ozzy graciously told his fans, but explained that he would have to cancel his upcoming tour dates. He was supposed to go on tour in early May.
“Never could I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way,” he typed, later concluding by thanking his close friends and family, as well as his “fans for their endless dedication, loyalty and support, and for their giving me the life I never dreamed I would have. I love you all…’
But the following month, while speaking on an episode of Sirius
‘But if you now say to me: ‘Can you go out in a month?’ “I couldn’t say yes,” he added. “I mean, if I could tour, I would tour. But at the moment I can’t book tours because I don’t think I could make them happen at the moment.’
Biggest Supporter: Ozzy’s wife, whom he tied the knot with in 1982, was by his side during his health struggles (the couple spotted in Beverly Hills in January 2020)
Grateful for his fans: Earlier in February, the rock singer sent his love to his fans, as well as close family and friends, when he stopped touring
He then admitted, “If I’m okay today, if the doctor says to me today, ‘Oh, you can go on tour,’ it would take another six months to get it done, you know?”
The Paranoid rocker also opened up about his health struggles, saying, “I feel like a one-legged man in a tough match.”
‘The only thing that keeps me going is making records. But I can’t do that forever. I gotta get out of there, you know?’ But he added that he is still in “constant pain.”
“I do my best to stay away from the pain meds, but there are times when I think, ‘You know, I need to take something.’ I mean, last week I couldn’t… I slept great, and suddenly two nights in a row. I haven’t slept a wink.’
In January 2020, the star, also known as the Prince of Darkness, revealed that he has Parkinson’s in an emotional interview with his wife Sharon.
The then 71-year-old spoke to Good Morning America to reveal that he could no longer hide his health problems and that he is taking a “whole host” of medications to treat his nerve pain.
It started, he said, when he fell in 2019 and had to undergo surgery. He then began experiencing nerve pain and doctors had difficulty determining whether the fall, the surgery or his condition were the cause of his condition.
He insisted he was ‘far from’ his deathbed – as had been misreported – and said he wanted to ‘confess’ his condition for the sake of his fans.
“It’s been a huge challenge for us,” he said of the past year. ‘I had to have an operation on my neck, which destroyed all my nerves. I found out I have a mild case of…’ he said before looking at his wife to finish his sentence.
Surgery: In June 2022, Ozzy underwent spinal surgery, with Sharon providing an update to fans shortly after
Sharon added: ‘It’s Parkin 2, a form of Parkinson’s. There are so many different types of Parkinson’s.’
Michael J. Fox is another celebrity who also suffers from the condition, which targets the central nervous system and can affect mobility.
In June 2022, Ozzy underwent spinal surgery, with Sharon providing an update to fans shortly after.
“Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support prior to Ozzy’s surgery! Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him,” the TV personality concluded.
Later that same year, the Crazy Train singer hopped on stage to perform at an NFL performance in September 2022.
