The Black Sabbath rocker, 74, spoke about the BBC commissioning a series documenting his “new life in the UK”, the birth of Kelly’s baby and Sharon’s 70th birthday, 17 years after The Osbournes will finish.

Ozzy says the show, which ushered in reality shows as we know them, saw his “kids get entangled” and turn to drugs as a way to deal with fame.

speaking in his SiriusXM channel, Ozzy said: “I don’t know how the Kardashians have done it for so long.” He drove us crazy at the end.

I don’t regret doing it, but after three or four years I was like, “You know what? We’re going to lose someone because they’re getting too crazy.”

“There’s the rock and roll fame, which is pretty intense, but that level of Osbourne was just unbelievable. The children paid for it. They all ended up taking drugs. Jack got clean and sober on that show, Kelly messed up on that show, I was messed up, and Sharon got cancer.

The reality show first aired on MTV in March 2002 and followed the eccentric home life of Black Sabbath singer Ozzy and his family; his eldest daughter, Aimee, opted out of the show.

During his talk on the radio, Ozzy revealed that the show further catapulted his fame and compared it to Beatlemania, where entire restaurants full of people would yell at him if he got to eat.

He said: “My wife told me that the BBC is bringing The Osbournes back to England.” I said, “We won’t have all that again.” But she said it’s just for a while.

The series became known for its wild events like Ozzy’s call of ‘Sharon!’ it became a household catchphrase and his confusion over a ringing phone became iconic.

After filming a total of four seasons and 52 episodes, the show won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2002.

His move to a quaint Buckinghamshire town comes as Ozzy asserted that “everything is fucking ridiculous” in America and highlighted the country’s history of school shootings.

He said the observer: ‘I’m sick of people dying every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was this mass shooting in Las Vegas at that concert… It’s crazy.”

Even though California’s Forest Lawn Cemetery is a favorite burial ground for celebrities like Paul Walker, Brittany Murphy and Bette Davis, Ozzy made it clear that he doesn’t want to do the same.

He continued: ‘I am English. I want to be back. But, having said that, if my wife says we have to go live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But no, it’s time for me to come home.
