Ozzy Osbourne now says he COULD go on tour again if doctors clear it… just weeks after announcing he was retiring from touring.
Ozzy Osbourne has stated that he is “not dying” and has raised the possibility that he will tour again if the doctors clear it.
The 74-year-old leader of Black Sabbath, affected by Parkinson’s, was forced to cancel all his shows for 2023 due to his health.
He confessed on the latest episode of Sirius XM’s Ozzy Speaks that he doesn’t know when he’ll be able to get back on the road.
“Well, I’ve been working hard to try to recover,” the legendary musician assured his fans.
“I’ve gotten to the point where Sharon [Osbourne – who is still his manager] He says to me, “You know what? The truth is, you can’t keep booking tours and failing, canceling,” he explained.

‘So if I can ever get back to where I can tour again, that’s fine. But right now, if you said to me, “Can you hit the road in a month?” I couldn’t say yes.
‘I mean, if I could tour, I would tour. But right now I can’t book tours because right now I don’t think I can do them.’
Ozzy has said that although his voice is fine, a spinal injury he sustained four years ago has left him weak.
But he lashed out at the reports about his health, saying: ‘The bloody press drives you crazy. I mean, I looked in the magazine: “Ozzy’s on the last legs of him.”
‘I’m not dying… come on guys. Haven’t I been through enough bad already? If I get well today, if the doctor told me today, “Oh, you can tour,” it would take me another six months to fix it, you know?
He added about his ongoing health problems, which led him to recently use a cane: “You have no idea. You have no idea what my… I feel like a one-legged man in a kick-ass contest.
“The only thing I have that keeps me going is making records. But I can’t do that forever. I have to go out…. [I’m] still in constant pain. I do my best to stay away from pain meds, but there are times when I’m like, “You know, I’ve got to take something,” Ozzy admitted.
‘I mean, last week I couldn’t… I’ve been sleeping really well, and then suddenly for two nights in a row. I never slept a wink. If you’re going to torture me, keep me awake for a couple of days. I’ll tell you whatever you want me to say.’
