‘I can’t begin to tell you how fucking frustrating life has become. It’s amazing how life is going for you and one stupid thing can spoil everything for a long time. I have never been sick for so long in my life.

“That surgeon told me that if he didn’t operate on me, there was a good chance I would be paralyzed from the neck down.”

The Black Sabbath hitmaker returned to the stage in August in his hometown of Birmingham for the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, just two months after “life-changing surgery.”

Ozzy revealed in an interview with Sun Earlier this month, he was told he may have been paralyzed for life, after undergoing his first spinal surgery in 2019.

The hitmaker was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, and that same year suffered a horrific fall that aggravated a neck injury from his ATV accident in 2003.

The injury triggered previous nerve damage from his quad bike accident 17 years ago, where he broke eight ribs and a vertebra in his neck on his English estate.

He underwent spinal surgery that left him with 15 screws in his back, nerve pain in his neck, back, shoulders and arms, and the star feared receiving ‘neck bolts’.

He told The Sun: “They told me: ‘You have a very good chance of being paralyzed for the rest of your life.'” ‘You just don’t expect the surgeon to be a bloody butcher. I was left in agony.

Speaking about the impact his health problems had on his loving wife Sharon, he said: “I’ve never been this bad for so long.” It’s been breaking Sharon’s heart to see me like this, but I’ll be back on tour if she kills me.

Ozzy’s last tour show was in December 2018, where he performed at Ozzfest in Inglewood as part of the farewell tour, No More Tours II.

Other legs of the tour in 2019 and 2019 were canceled due to his health and the pandemic. The tour will resume in 2023.

The rock icon has had two operations this year, the most recent of which took place in June, with Ozzy saying: “Thank God I found the right surgeon who knows how to treat spinal problems.”

He had to cut the nerves and you have to take pills for nerve pain, but I’m getting better.

Ozzy added that he is undergoing physical therapy to ensure he is back in top shape as he works on his 13th studio album.

The star added that her doctor had informed her that she had the ‘milder’ form of Parkin 2, a form of Parkinson’s disease, revealing that she doesn’t shake at all.

It comes after Ozzy was released from a Los Angeles hospital in June after undergoing what Sharon called “a major operation” that “would determine the rest of his life.”

He recently revealed that he no longer wants to return to the UK from the US, having vowed to leave the US due to the country’s gun violence.

The rock icon who hails from Birmingham, England, has lived in California for more than 25 years, and in August revealed his intentions to return home saying: “I’m sick of people dying every day.”

But the Paranoid hitmaker has now declared Consequence Magazine: ‘To be honest with you, if I had my way, I would stay in America. I’m an American now… to be honest with you, I don’t want to go back. Fuck that.

Osbourne said the decision to return home was prompted by the backlash his wife Sharon received when she defended Piers Morgan for his comments that he did not believe Meghan Markle’s explosive claims of racism in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Allegations then surfaced that Osbourne made racist comments about co-hosts behind the scenes on The Talk, claims she has strongly denied, and she was later fired from the show.

He said: ‘It broke her heart. It was wrong what they did to him. It was really. I thought [her co-host] Sheryl Underwood would defend her.

She is her friend. Little did she know that she was the one who dropped the bomb. Sharon was tricked and it was wrong. She was really bad.

The comments come three months after Ozzy announced that he plans to return to the UK with his wife Sharon because he “doesn’t want to die in crazy America.”

The singer claimed that “everything is fucking ridiculous” in the United States and highlighted the country’s history of school shootings.

Along with his wife, music manager Sharon, he is believed to be moving into their Grade II listed, 120-year-old Buckinghamshire pile Welders House.

He said the observer: ‘I’m sick of people dying every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was this mass shooting in Las Vegas at that concert… It’s crazy.”

He continued: ‘I am English. I want to be back. But, having said that, if my wife says we have to go live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But no, it’s time for me to come home.

Quashing any speculation that the move might have been prompted by Ozzy’s battle with Parkinson’s disease, Sharon added: “It’s not the United States of America at all.” Nothing is attached about it. It’s a very strange place to live right now.

WHAT IS PARKINSON’S DISEASE?

Parkinson’s disease affects one in 500 people, and around 127,000 people in the UK are living with the condition.

The figures also suggest that a million Americans suffer as well.

It causes muscle stiffness, slow movement, tremors, sleep disturbances, chronic fatigue, impaired quality of life, and can lead to severe disability.

It is a progressive neurological condition that destroys cells in the part of the brain that controls movement.

Patients are known to have a reduced supply of dopamine because the nerve cells that produce it have died.

There is currently no cure or way to stop the progression of the disease, but hundreds of scientific trials are underway to try to change that.
