OzLotto results: Sydney couple reveal big plans after winning $40million
A Sydney couple have revealed their big plans after winning a $40 million prize in the Oz Lotto.
The Hills District couple were the only winners of the first division on Tuesday, which earned them the full jackpot.
“You’re kidding, oh my god,” the woman screamed when a Lott employee called immediately after the draw to confirm the prize.
“I was just falling asleep when you called. I normally play Powerball, but I thought I’d give Oz Lotto a try.
“In our dreams we’ve thought about what we’d do with a big win, but you never think it’ll come true. It’s unreal.”

When asked what they planned to do with the money, the man said he would still get up and go to work, despite now being a multi-millionaire.
“This is going to buy us some time. It’s going to buy us time to do the things that we want to do. And to help the people in your life that have helped you and that you want to help,” he said.
“I always say I’ve already won the lottery because I live in Australia, I’m healthy and I’ve met a beautiful woman.”
The couple’s winning 18-game QuickPick deck was purchased from Kenthurst Cellars.
So far this year, 12 winning entries from Division 1 across the Western and Blue Mountains region have collectively won more than $82.45 million in prize money.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday 1587 Oz Lotto draw were 18, 1, 42, 33, 15, 36 and 10, while the additional numbers were 9, 12 and 27.
