Oxford’s game against Wycombe has been delayed by 40 minutes following a medical emergency on the ground.
The game was halted and players were removed from the field after less than 20 minutes of play so a fan could receive medical attention.
Oxford tweeted: ‘Everyone at Oxford United’s thoughts are with the person concerned.
The game will resume at 4 p.m. so that both teams have a chance to warm up again. Thank you for your continued patience.’
The match was goalless at the time of the stoppage, with the sides only separated on goal difference in the League One table.
Play resumed at 4pm and 15 minutes later Wycombe took the lead via Chris Forino.
