Owen Wilson makes rare public appearance with lookalike sons Ford, 13, and Finn, 10, at LAFC soccer game in LA … actor is also father to daughter Lyla, five

Owen Wilson was spotted making a rare public outing with his sons Ford, 13, and Finn, 10, at a football game in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Dallas-born actor, 55, and his sons Robert ‘Ford’, 13, and Finn, 10, watched the Los Angeles Football Club’s game against the New York Red Bulls at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. Wilson is also dad to daughter Lyla, five.

Wilson, who has appeared in films such as Wedding Crashers, Starsky & Hutch and Meet the Parents, was pictured with his sons in a suite at the stadium and later on the sidelines.

Wilson, who was nominated for a Best Writing Oscar in 2002 for his work on The Royal Tenenbaums with Wes Anderson, was featured in a clip the club uploaded after the 2-2 draw against the Red Bulls with the caption, “Sideline Celebrations.”

Wilson and his sons celebrated the team’s comeback during the draw, holding up LAFC player Denis Bouanga’s soccer jersey with the number 99 in hand.

The family were pictured cheering after the striker’s second-half double earned his team a point after a first-half goal.

Wilson, who has dated Kate Hudson in the past, supported the home team in a team-branded ball cap and windbreaker, navy pants and brown shoes. His sons both wore LAFC-branded gear.

Wilson is father to Ford with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell, Finn with one-time personal trainer Caroline Lindqvist and Lyla with Varunie Vongsvirates, with whom he was in a relationship.

Wilson spoke about raising his sons on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in June 2017: “Sometimes it feels like I can already see what they’re going to be like as teenagers, where they’re going to gang up on me.”

Wilson told it Esquire in August 2021 that he lives with both sons and everyone “gets along” because he adopted “a single dad schedule.”

Two months later, Vongsvirates told DailyMail.com that Wilson had “never met” his daughter or had any contact with her.

“He has unfortunately never met her,” Vongsvirates said in an interview on October 11, 2021.

Varunie told DailyMail.com in November 2019 that she begged the actor to be present for their child. She said that while “he helps financially… it’s never about that.”

The LAFC has lured a number of notable stars to its stadium in LA’s Exposition Park neighborhood, with Wilson the latest to be pictured

Varunie said, “Lyla needs a father. It’s ironic how [Wilson] he keeps getting these father roles… and he’s never met his own daughter.”

Wilson is the latest star to be pictured at LAFC football matches, while others who have stepped out to watch the football team play include Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez and Prince Harry.

The stadium, which opened in April 2018, is also home to the National Women’s Soccer League’s Angel City Football Club.
