In just three days, Overlook 2 has become Steam’s worst rated game of all time.
Overwatch 2: invasion finally released on August 10, and the launch was accompanied by another big debut: Overlook 2‘s arrival on Steam. However, by August 12, it had reached the top of a list that no developer ever wants to top: Overlook 2 now has the lowest user score on Steam. Ever.
According to Steam’s Hall of Shame, more than 100,000 players have left a review on the free-to-play shooter, with a whopping 91 percent negative. Yuck.
“Big bug is coming to Steam. Now you have the whole community critically criticizing your game for all Steam users to see,” said one hapless player.
“Overlook 2 has no respect for you, it’s an attempt to pry open your wallet while pretending to be the game it used to be,” wrote another exasperated reviewer.
It seems that most players disagree with the free-to-play shooter’s monetization model, but others are also unhappy with the game’s content schedule and perceived lack of community moderation.
“This game has been bombarded by reviews and I’ve seen backlash from others saying it’s unfair. Let me tell you first hand, no it isn’t!” added one more. “In my opinion, this is more than deserved for what Blizzard has done. As someone who has played hundreds of hours of both Overlook 1 And 2I have a good idea of what’s going on.
“This is the result of an extremely passionate group of people who have been let down by Blizzard time and time again. People who have spent countless hours playing, watching and consuming Overexpected content over the years.”
The overall user score has dropped steadily since the game was released and now sits at a miserly 0.96 out of 10, which is lower than games like Redfall, eFootball, And Battlefield 2042all of which were received with equally unfavorable feedback from players.

Well now The Enigma has pulled back his hood, revealing himself to be none other than John Cenawhich now urges all players to “prepare for the invasion”.
