Outrage over next season’s Farmer Wants a Wife casting: ‘They’re too young to be looking for love’
The cast of the 2024 season of Farmer Wants a Wife has been announced.
And fans have already criticized the casting prior to the show’s taping, with many complaining that the male farmers are too young.
Not one of the eight farmers who will be tapped for the series next year is over 35 years old.
Producers opened applications for single woman looking for love for the 2024 season with a photo of each of the farmers, including their ages and the location of their farms.
The youngest farmers are Nick from South Australia and Tom from Victoria, both 22.

“Are you a single lady looking for love,” Seven captioned the photo on the FWAW Instagram page.
Fans were quick to fill the comment section with their disappointment.
A hopeful answer to the casting call sounded crushed: “But I’m 39!” Those farmers are all too young.’
“Too young, where are the older farmers?” said another.
“Awwww where are the grown men actually looking for love… these little whip snappers are too young,” added one.
