Amanda Owen, of Our Yorkshire Farm, has admitted “life is never easy” as she transitions from her marriage separation to husband Clive.
In June, after months of rumors about the status of their marriage, Amanda and Clive released a joint statement saying they had made “the difficult decision to separate”.
And speaking in a new interview, Yorkshire Shepherdess, 48, addresses the “different challenges” she faces as a mother of nine, while also discussing her new solo show, Farming Lives.

The series saw Aamanda spending time away from her family home and talking with Mirror On how her children coped with her absence, Amanda said: ‘Oh yeah. Years of training means they’re fine.
She added that the nature of her farm work means “there’s always something to do” around the house or farm, and Amanda jokes that she always “warns” them when she returns.
Going on to detail how she juggles family life with nine children between the ages of five and 21, Amanda said it wasn’t always “easy.”
She said: ‘It’s never easy, it’s different challenges. But I have to admit, I like being a part of their journey as they grow up and watching them develop.

“Raven is in college doing a Masters now, Reuben is freelancing and loving it, Miles has dropped out of school and is working at home. He attracts new people and keeps you on your toes. I hope it keeps me young.
It comes days after Amanda opened up about her split from her husband Clive in a new interview with the Radio Times.
The television personality explained that the couple had succumbed to the ‘pressure’ but that they ‘just have to move on’.

She told the publication: ‘Look, there are two simple facts: if he thought I was brilliant and I thought he was brilliant, then we wouldn’t have broken up.
It’s a fact, isn’t it? But, you know what, that’s not unique, it’s how things are, the pressures, everything else.
“But we have nine children, with associated friends, girlfriends, and we just have to keep going.”

The couple have been together for 21 years and share children, Raven, 21, Reuben, 19, Miles, 16, Edith, 14, Violet, 12, Sidney, 11, Annas, 9, Clemmy, 7, and six-year-old Nancy.
Asked if the couple were raising both, Amanda said: “Call it that if you want, but it’s really just a buzzword.” It just means we take turns yelling at the kids.
Speaking about her children, she said: “I loved having babies, but it wasn’t ‘goo-goo, ga-ga’.” She couldn’t wait for them to find their own feet and run.
“Someone once said to me, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re really going to regret having all these kids when they’re teenagers.’

‘And now I probably have about four or five teenagers, and it’s great. I’m lovin ‘it. I feel like it keeps me young. And I love seeing their characters and how different they all are.’
In November last year, neighbors told MailOnline that she and Clive had been living apart for months after she “was in the spotlight” on his Channel 5 show.
Amanda has moved into her rental property on Ravenseat Farm Road in Swaledale, where Clive has been staying on the farm, villagers said.
It was understood that Clive was “desperate” to repair their relationship and “feared” that their marriage would end in divorce.
