Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, a production insider claimed that Channel Ten was concerned that Osher’s unfiltered opinions could land the show in hot water.
“They thought he was going to say something that would blow up in their faces and cause a PR nightmare,” the source revealed.
The fear of backlash was apparently too great for Ten to take a chance on Gunsberg, despite the potential ratings his involvement would no doubt bring.

“It’s disappointing because Osher would have been a fantastic addition to the cast and his fan base would have followed him to the jungle,” the source lamented.

Known for his charm and quick wit, Günsberg has been the face of The Bachelor since its inception in 2013.
