Oscars 2023 nominations in full: Women Talking and All Quiet on the Western Front

The dimension-hopping adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once topped the list of films nominated Tuesday for this year’s Academy Awards, securing 11 nominations including a place in the prestigious best picture race.
Others in the running for best picture include Steven Spielberg’s coming-of-age flick The Fabelmans, the glitzy Elvis biopic, and Avatar: The Way of Water, James Cameron’s blockbuster sequel that currently ranks as the sixth most popular film. box office hit of all time.
Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the 95th Academy Award nominations from Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
Top Gun: Maverick, Tar, Triangle of Sadness, Women Talking, and All Quiet on the Western Front are also in the running.
The winners of the industry’s highest honors will be announced at a March 12 ceremony hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and broadcast live on the Walt Disney Co.’s ABC network.
The Oscars and other entertainment awards shows have struggled to attract viewers, particularly younger ones who spend time on TikTok and YouTube.
Last year’s Academy Awards show, when Will Smith slapped host Chris Rock before winning best actor, drew some 15.4 million viewers, the second-smallest audience ever.
Winners will be voted on by the approximately 10,000 actors, producers, directors and motion picture craftsmen that make up the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
