Orville Peck takes to Instagram to reveal that the tour has been postponed due to mental and physical health issues

Orville Peck took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal he was postponing the rest of his tour to take care of his mental and physical health.
The 35-year-old singer, real name Daniel Pitout, posted to his approximately 602,000 followers to share the unfortunate development.
“I am heartbroken to share this news, but have made the incredibly difficult decision to immediately postpone all of my upcoming shows,” Orville wrote.
“This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I’ve come to realize that my current mental and physical health doesn’t allow me to get the best out of myself,” he continued.
“My fans mean the absolute world to me and I am so incredibly grateful to every person who bought a ticket to see us play, I don’t take it for granted. Being on stage is my favorite thing in the world,” the post read.

“But I need to take this time to replenish my mind and body so that I can come back stronger and healthier than before, to be able to do what I love for many years to come.” I really hope you can understand,” Orville added.
He concluded by telling his followers that he would see them soon and also sent them all his love.
Orville kicked off his 11-date tour in New York City on Tuesday with a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.
The South African country musician wears a fringed mask and has never shown his face in public.
Orville released his debut album Pony in 2019 and his second studio album Bronco was released in April 2022.
In 2020, Orville reimagined Lady Gaga’s song Born This Way in a country style.
He appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race on MTV in March.
Pitout was also part of the Canadian punk trio Nü Sensae which formed in 2008 and went on indefinite hiatus in August 2014.
