Original supermodel Lauren Hutton leaves viewers shocked after she swears on The Project and flirts with co-host: ‘Clumsy and awkward’
Lauren Hutton rose to fame in the 1970s as the world’s first supermodel.
And the 79-year-old Spitfire proved that age has not tired her out in a spirited performance on The Sunday Project this weekend.
The iconic American beauty sat down with the panel of the Australian current affairs show for a chat, which led to some hilarious moments.
Lauren had to be beeped extensively as she answered a question about whether she still liked working.
“I think it’s important…” she began, before her next few words were heavily censored.

It’s unclear what Lauren said, but her comment made co-host Michael Hing visibly blush.
“It’s just really nice to meet you, you seem really cool,” he shrieked nervously, before Lauren cuddled into him.
“You’re not so bad yourself,” she hummed, leaving the panel of hosts laughing wildly.
Viewers watching at home were less amused, with some wondering if the model wasn’t jet-lagged after her long-haul flight from the US to Australia.
