Optical illusion reveals if you’re a stickler for the rules or have low self-esteem based on what you see first
An optical illusion shared on TikTok has made several people feel “called” for its “accurate” depiction of personalities and morals.
Mia – known as @mia_yilin on the social app – has a video demonstrate what hidden problems you might have depending on which of the two possible images behind the illusion you see first.
The content creator regularly posts optical illusions, puzzles, and brainteasers, along with in-depth analysis, to her account for her 455,000 followers to flesh out.
Users around the world have taken advantage of the comments below the video (which has been viewed more than 52,000 times since its upload) to share what they saw.
The fun optical illusion of the “personality test” shows what appears to be a stone woman, deep in thought, or a clump of bright green trees growing out of a rock.

Captioned, “What’s the first thing you see in this photo?” Mia explains how seeing one of the possible images can determine your “hidden” personality traits.
Of the first image, she said, “When you see the trees for the first time, you are a rule-follower. Even when no one is looking, you always do the right thing and have a huge moral conscience.
“You often find yourself going out of your way to make others happy, and you honestly wish you weren’t always so kind-hearted.”
Explaining the second image, Mia said, “When you first see the woman, you have rather low self-esteem and you constantly get into unhealthy relationships. Because subconsciously you believe you deserve all of that.
“You lack love and appreciation for yourself and you don’t see how the world lights up with you in it. To improve your life, you must first improve your perception of yourself.’
Surprisingly, almost every TikTok user in the comment section saw the same image — the woman — which left many feeling “personally attacked” and “called out” for agreeing with Mia’s analogy.
One commenter confirmed, “A woman’s head,” while another wrote, “I saw a woman with hair made of trees.”
Two other users agreed, with one saying, “I’ve seen the second one and it’s correct,” while the second wrote, “Sadly true; saw the woman.’

Others believed that the analogy was so appealing to them that they felt that Mia was “talking to them” about their supposedly unhealthy behavior.
One person wrote, “She just called me,” while another jokingly said, “I came here to relax, not get attacked.”
Another user said, “I didn’t need to be called out like that,” while another wrote, “Why are you so accurate, sis?”
However, some users weren’t too convinced by the analogy, with one writing, “Wrong.. I saw the woman and I have a good relationship with myself. I have a lot of self-confidence because I don’t have to prove my worth to others.’
