An optical illusion claims to tell you whether you are experiencing self-doubt, or whether doubt from others is causing you to be insecure about yourself – depending on which you see first.
The image was shared by TikTok creator Mia Yilin, who has more than 457,000 followers on the social video app, where she has become popular for her in-depth interpretations of various optical illusions.
Posted on October 6, the after has since amassed 15,000 views, over 1,500 likes, and 20 comments from individuals who can identify with the observations suggested in Mia’s personality test.
Titled ‘What’s the first thing you see in this photo?’ she claims that her latest illusion can tell you whether you see life through an artistic lens, or whether you are particularly capable of recovering from adversity.

In the footage, the content creator revealed what it could mean when you see the bird for the first time.
She said: ‘When you see the bird for the first time, you often see the world through an artistic lens and discover beauty in the smallest details.
‘However, you experience a lot of self-doubt and therefore have difficulty fully embracing your uniqueness and creativity.’
Mia then talked about what it meant when you saw the vintage record player for the first time, suggesting that once you make a mistake, you can learn from it.
She said, “If you first saw the vintage record player, you are someone who is always able to overcome setbacks and learn from your mistakes.
‘You have the most fantastic ideas, but doubt from others makes you insecure about yourself.’
