Oprah unveils her Favorite Things for 2023 ahead of the holidays – from a $999 pizza oven and $110 plate of CHEESE to $120 makeup brush set and $80 ‘luxury’ salt
Oprah has unveiled her annual Favorite Things list ahead of the holidays – and it included a slew of expensive items, like a $999 pizza oven, a $110 plate of cheese, a $120 set of makeup brushes and ‘luxury’ salt from $80.
Each year, the 69-year-old media mogul shares a comprehensive gift guide filled with a range of products such as kitchen appliances and cooking supplies, furniture and housewares, clothing and accessories, and skin, hair and makeup items.
And 2023 will be no different. With a total of 109 articles, this year’s list has ideas for fashion lovers, home chefs, foodies, beauty gurus and workout fanatics.
“It’s been a year, hasn’t it?” Oprah wrote before digging into her top picks.

‘With so much happening, it makes sense that we want to celebrate with friends, family and the entire community of people we hold in our hearts all year round.
“So we looked across the country (and a little beyond) to find just the right gifts for the people you love, adore and thank heaven for.”
The TV Legend also pointed out that the list includes a “wide variety of BIPOC, women-owned, and veteran-founded businesses.”
“You will not only find great gifts, but you will also support the people who have fulfilled their dream of making those gifts come true. Don’t you love that?’ she added.

“Some days only one slice of pizza hits the spot. “Luckily, Ooni, known for its outdoor pizza ovens, has created an indoor version this year that’s worthy of the old country,” Oprah said of the oven.
Other high-cost items include the $590 De’Longhi TrueBrew Drip coffee maker, the $499 Meta Quest 3 – a VR headset, the $399 TheraFace Pro facial massager, the $340 Amazon Kindle Scribe costs, and a $300 bread oven made by Le Creuset.
“This headset offers both fully immersive and mixed-reality experiences for more than 500 apps,” Oprah wrote about the Meta Quest 3.

As for her suggestions for gifts for children or babies, the star suggested a $70 teddy bear made by Bukowski (seen), a $175 scooter from Bandwood, and a $65 doll from Alimrose Halle.
“Great for gaming, or, if you’re Adam (Glassman) and Gayle (King), a quick game of virtual pickleball in the office.”
If you’re looking for something stylish to give, Oprah has a $278 cashmere sweater and sweatpants set made by Haven Well Within, a $202 tote bag from Telfar, $265 Rebecca Allen boots, Tory Burch- $248 loafers and a $198 Sherpa jacket from House. No.23, among others.
As for her suggestions for gifts for children and babies, the star suggested a $70 teddy bear made by Bukowski, a $175 scooter from Bandwood, and a $65 ballerina doll from the toy company Alimrose Halle.
“Each member of this corps de ballet is ethically crafted by female artisans in the Philippines,” Oprah said of the doll.
“I really appreciate that their line includes a range of different faces so little ones can see themselves.”
For those who spend most of their time in the kitchen, Oprah has added a range of products such as a $75 charcuterie board board (left) and a $214 knife set made by Cangshan Cutlery (right).
Oprah also includes plenty of food products, like Stone Hollow Farmstead’s Blissful Breakfast Gift Box for $111, which comes with pancake mix, syrup, infused jelly and more.
Some of the less expensive items for youngsters include the Layering Gift Set from Proudly Moisture, which costs $26 and comes with hydrating baby lotion, nourishing oil and all-over balm, and a $22 mini bead pack from Super Smalls.
For those who spend most of their time in the kitchen, Oprah has added a range of products such as a $75 charcuterie board from Sophistiplate, a $195 electric kettle from Fellow, and a $214 knife set made by Cangshan Cutlery.

Oprah also supplies numerous food products, such as a two-pack of Esau Deu2 olive oil, which costs $77; Mortgage’s $90 Apple Pie; Stone Hollow Farmstead’s Blissful Breakfast Gift Box for $111 – includes pancake mix, syrup, jelly and more; My Fabulous Food’s $80 Luxury Salt Duo; and the Point Reyes Farmstead cheese collection for $110.
“It’s true that you can bring all the handcrafted, award-winning cheeses from this woman-owned, family farm to a holiday event,” Oprah said of the latter.
“But trust me when I say you might want to save the TomaTruffle for a grilled cheese.”
When it came to her favorite beauty items, she mentioned a set of liquid lipsticks from Bossy Cosmetics, which comes in five different shades and costs $80, a $120 long-lasting makeup brush set from Jenny Patinkin, and the four sets of makeup palettes from Laura Geller in the shadows.
