Oodies sold in Australia are urgently recalled

Children’s Beach Oodies purchased online are subject to a recall because they do not meet essential safety criteria for children’s clothing.

To ensure safety, the ACCC strongly recommends that persons who own any of these Oodies do not use them and immediately contact The Oodie Company for a refund.

Those affected are either presented with a fire warning label accompanied by instructions for attachment to the Oodie, or alternatively a replacement Oodie.

The affected Oodies were sold online from The Oodie between September 2022 and July this year.

The ACCC has said the Oodie will also email affected consumers about the issue.
