I worked as an OnlyFans recruiter – the requests from men were so bizarre they made me seek Jesus instead
An OnlyFans recruiter reveals the horrific requests she received from men that were so disturbing that she completely changed her life and converted to Christianity.
Australian Victoria Sinis, who has a background in marketing, was unaware that she would be exposed to disturbing fetish requests and violent pornographic material while working for the OnlyFans agency.
When a friend recommended her for the 2022 position, Victoria innocently didn’t know much about the site. Her role as an agency employee was to recruit women for OnlyFans.
At first she thought that most of the women on the site came from poor families and that because they were making good money they must be happy and doing something positive with their lives. But it was an unpleasant surprise.
When Victoria got a glimpse behind the scenes of the online world, she quickly learned the hard truth of it, which inspired her to turn to religion, specifically Christianity.

Victoria is now the founder of Creating Gems, an organization focused on helping women overcome societal expectations and fighting against sexual exploitation.
She openly acknowledged that some see the platform as empowering because women have some control over the content they publish for their monthly subscribers. But there’s a catch.
While outsiders may be under the misconception that OnlyFans is just about making money off of foot photos, the content could be much more sinister.
Victoria indicated that once an OnlyFans woman reaches a certain level on the site, she loses her authority over how she interacts with her subscribers and an agency steps in.
The agency acts as a kind of messenger between the women and the men, having contractors pose as the woman and talk to her subscribers.
The brand asks her to post provocative content on social media so she can best promote herself on OnlyFans.
An agency also uses social media to recruit, finding women who post offensive photos.
Because OnlyFans is so competitive, many women are forced by their subscribers to post content outside of their comfort zone in order to earn enough money to survive.
Victoria said agencies like hers operate a tiered system.
She explained that she came up with the first level, where women wear swimsuits in their photos.
The second level is that women imply nudity in their content, and the third level is full nudity.
The higher your tier number, the more provocative your content will be, the more subscribers you will have, and the higher your payouts will be.
Victoria admitted she was disgusted by the custom requests feature, which allowed subscribers to ask women for specific sexual content.
She said men asked women to write “s***” or the subscriber’s name on their bodies, or to tie themselves up in their photos, among other things.
A male subscriber paid for a woman to put on a specific sandal, blow up balloons to a certain size, and then stand on them.
Another subscriber wanted to see a woman dangling from a ledge while another stepped on her fingers.
Victoria admitted that the more specific the request, the more annoyed she became with the industry.
She worried that even though the scenarios were fake, the video might not be enough for subscribers and they would be inclined to act out the scenarios, as OnlyFans often fuels sick fantasies.
Victoria was uncomfortable with this kind of twisted psychology and decided to change her life, remembering the peace she had found when she was younger.
When Victoria got a glimpse behind the scenes of the online world, she soon learned its ugly truth, which inspired her to turn to religion, specifically Christianity
When Victoria was a little girl, she attended a church called CityLife, which had a refugee program.
Because her family was not religious, they stopped going to church when she was 10 or 11. However, she never forgot a story a children’s pastor once told her.
When Victoria was four, she heard the story of a woman who was threatened with death by a man if she did not renounce Christ.
The headstrong woman in the story refused and the gun did not fire.
Even though Victoria didn’t understand whether the story was true or not, it left a deep impression on her.
As an adult, she felt she was at a dead end, and used the symbolism behind the moving story to rekindle her calling.
She said she always had the deep feeling that at no point in her life had she renounced God.
Victoria explained that throughout her personal journey, she always knew that God was real and existed.
Victoria contacted the church and was invited to the church service shortly thereafter.
The day she attended was a highlight for her, when Melinda Tankard Reist, the movement director of Collective Shout, a group that works against sexual exploitation, spoke.
OnlyFans didn’t appeal to Victoria and she decided to turn her life around
Victoria was overcome with emotion by Melinda’s speech, in which she said that Christians symbolize the salt and light of the world.
When Melinda specifically brought up OnlyFans and its negative and dangerous impact, Victoria felt her new path had been set.
After Melinda spoke, Victoria introduced herself to her as an employee of an agency that recruits for OnlyFans. She candidly expressed the hatred she felt for herself because of the agency.
After Melinda confronted her about the horrors of OnlyFans that Sunday, Victoria quit her job at the agency that Friday, in July 2023.
To make ends meet, she went to work in a café, where she found the work of cleaning toilets humiliating.
Melinda made sure Victoria started sharing her story in schools, and one of her moving speeches even went viral on TikTok.
Victoria underwent a three-day fast, which ultimately led her on the new path of starting her own organization, teaching young girls to have bigger aspirations than just appealing to the male gaze as an OnlyFans model, and to discover their true worth.
