The family of model and influencer Rachel Mee is “absolutely devastated” by her sudden death just days before their son’s first Christmas.
Rachel, who became a mother to her son Kyro in March this year, passed away on Sunday December 18, with a close friend writing in a tribute that she had “lost her battle with the pressures of this world.” No cause of death has been announced.
The Only Fans model’s older brother, Connor, 29, broke the news of her death to friends on social media Monday, with close friends and neighbors calling her passing a “terrible shock.”

The social media star, an influencer who had more than 40,000 followers on Instagram, lost both of her parents and often posted about life as a single mom raising the boy she “loved so much.”
Rachel’s brother wrote: ‘As many of you know my little sister Rachel Mee passed away suddenly yesterday morning. As a family we are overwhelmed by everyone’s messages and support, and there are too many to respond to as well.
“We are absolutely devastated by her loss, she was a sister, aunt, niece and mother to her beautiful boy Kyro and will be missed by all who knew her.”
Tragic: Rachel, who became a mother to her son Kyro in March of this year, passed away on Sunday, December 18. The cause of death has not been announced.
Heartbroken: Rachel’s brother wrote: “We are absolutely devastated by her loss, she was a sister, aunt, niece and mother to her beautiful little boy Kyro and will be missed by all.”
He added: “Rachel was well-liked by a lot of people, but only a few knew the real Rach.”
Among the stunned friends paying emotional tributes were former Geordie Shore star Natalie Phillips and MMA fighter Joshua Vogel, who donated the fee from his upcoming fight to a fund set up to help Rachel’s son Kyro.
Neighbors at Rachel’s home in Blyth, Northumberland, where she lived alone with her son, said her death had been “a terrible shock to everyone”.
Former Geordie Shore star Natalie, who left the MTV show in 2020, was a close friend of Rachel’s and paid tribute to her while posting photos of nights gone by.
Natalie said, “I’m not sure this is ever going to sink in. Rest in peace, my dear girl.” What she wouldn’t do to take us back to these days. Sleep well with your mom and dad.

MMA fighter Joshua Vogel, a family friend and former neighbor, donated the proceeds from his upcoming fight in February to a fund set up to help Rachel’s family and Kyro in particular.
Joshua posted: ‘I was Rachel and Connor’s neighbor for 13 years, we basically grew up together. I moved out, but Rachel was still very nice to me and she would always say hello and congratulate my kids and my girlfriend.
‘If Connor doesn’t make it to the show, I’ll give him the money raised. There is also a donation link that people can kindly donate.
“She was loved by so many people and a lot of people close to me who I also grew up with are supporting her family.” You know who you are.

Friend Chris Coppen has created a GoFundMe page at the family’s request.
Chris, from Blyth, says on the page, which has raised over £5,000 so far: “Rachel’s family have asked me to set up a fund for me as there have been so many messages paying tribute and asking how.” to be able to help.
‘This page will help with the cost of Rachel’s funeral and any associated costs, anything else left over will go towards baby Kyro’s future. Any donation is greatly appreciated by the family.’
Close friend Claire Robinson also started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the child’s future.
She wrote: ‘This Christmas will be Kyro’s first, and devastatingly his mum won’t be there.
“We are all very saddened by this devastating news of how this world has failed such a beautiful young woman.”
Claire added: “Rachel sadly lost her battle with the pressures of this world.

“Or even to give Kyro a little head start on life by raising some funds in memory of his beautiful mom.”
