OnlyFans model accused of murdering her boyfriend in their Miami apartment is being sued
The OnlyFans model accused of killing her boyfriend in their Miami apartment is being sued by his family to cover his medical and funeral expenses.
Courtney Clenney, 26, is being charged with negligence by Christian Obumseli’s family, a year after she allegedly stabbed him to death on April 3, 2022.
Clenney was arrested for manslaughter four months after his death, claiming she stabbed him in self-defense.
Photos from the crime scene showed a pool of blood at an entrance to the couple’s apartment, the bloodied knife supposedly used in the attack, and Clenney drenched in Obumseli’s blood.
The lawsuit obtained by TMZ lists Clenney as the defendant, along with a few other unnamed individuals.
Obumseli was rushed to hospital, but he died of his injuries. His family is convinced that Courtney was always the aggressor in their romance and that she became a “different person” when she drank.

Obumseli’s family believes Clenney is guilty of his murder, despite her claims that she acted in self-defense.
Released 911 audio after the stabbing, revealing that Clenney said to her former lover, “Honey, I’m so sorry” after she allegedly stabbed a knife in his shoulder.
She didn’t tell the operator she stabbed him, but sobbed to him that she was sorry.
In the background we hear Obumseli shouting: ‘I can’t feel my arm.’
Graphic case photos have revealed that she pinned her much taller boyfriend inches above a tattoo of her name in cursive on the left side of his chest.
Obumseli’s family said at the time that it showed she intended to kill him but regretted it once the knife was stabbed in him.
“It shows her state of mind. She says she’s sorry because she realizes what she’s done. She’s not saying, “I defended myself,” said his family’s attorney, Larry Hadfield.
Obumseli was rushed to hospital, but he died of his injuries.
Clenney was initially arrested but later released. It wasn’t until several months later, in August, that she was arrested in Hawaii – she has been in custody ever since.
The victim’s family is convinced that Courtney was always the aggressor in their romance, and that she became a “different person” when she drank.
They were also furious that the detectives did not immediately charge Clenney with his death, saying it was “because of her “privilege” as a “rich white woman.”

Clenney and Obumseli, a cryptocurrency trader, had been dating for less than two years and their relationship was tumultuous.
During the research last year, Mmessages from Obumseli’s iCloud account with two incidents raised red flags.
Given her in a mug shot from her arrest, Clenney is charged with second-degree murder
Last year, Obumseli once wrote about being stabbed twice in the leg by an enraged Clenney. He described lyrics about how he was then left so badly injured he could barely walk.
A day later, a still injured Obumseli described another attack in which he was hit in the head by his girlfriend and suffered a concussion.
Then, in late January, Obumseli suffered two lacerations to the cheek and chin following another alleged tiff, with his wounds documented in photos that have since been obtained by police.
Those injuries were reportedly serious enough that the since-killed Obumseli would have to admit himself to a local hospital to get stitches.
Then, two months before Obumseli’s death, security footage from the apartment building’s elevator also showed Clenney viscously assaulting her boyfriend, who didn’t seem to fight back.
Clenney and Obumseli lived in the One Paraiso and were well known to staff and residents, who reported multiple domestic violence complaints about the couple and even moved to evict them.
