Hemsley’s boyfriend, Akonne Wanliss, jumped to the social media star’s defense
The development comes after the fighter’s boyfriend, Akonne Wanliss, defended the social media star, insisting the stunt was pre-planned and not intended to cause any harm.
“In YouTube boxing, they’re always doing something to go viral and make a statement,” he says told talkSport. That’s the name of the game in YouTube boxing.
“It was planned in advance. It was something else, we had nipple tassels but somewhere the nipple tassels got lost and her bare nipples showed and that made everyone wild.’
He continued, “I always say good press is bad press and bad press is good press. You just have to take everything with a grain of salt and acknowledge what you’ve done.
“She doesn’t mean any harm by it, she’s just having a little fun out there, being human and showing her excitement.”
“Some people might hate it, some people love it. For my part, I will always support her, support that. I’m always like, ‘Get your ass out! Go crazy!’
