A golfer left wedding guests roaring with laughter after interrupting a couple’s ceremony to hit a golf ball, only to reveal he was in fact the celebrant.
In a now viral TikTok clip, Victorian couple ‘Emily and Jamie’ were waiting at the Cape Schanck Resort on the spectacular Mornington Peninsula this weekend to exchange their vows when the ceremony was prevented by an intruder.
“Sorry, guys,” the man announced to the gathered wedding guests.
“Play where it lies,” he said, gesturing to his golf ball.

The golfer then prepared to play his shot before looking up at the crowd.
‘What is going on here? A wedding?’ he asked.
The man then played his shot before revealing he was the celebrant.
“We gotta marry these guys, yeah!” he exclaimed, taking off his golf polo and waving it over his head.
The guests laughed and cheered as the celebrant clasped the groom’s hands.
The TikTok video has racked up nearly 50,000 likes, with social media users approving the joke.
