A gun was recovered at the scene of the shooting.
The full number of injured victims from the shooting was difficult to determine because many of the shots merely grazed.
There are said to have been several hundred people in Club Oasis when the shooting took place.
All remaining victims are expected to survive, according to Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott.
Scott believes there may have been more than one gunman involved in the attack, which he said was “pre-planned.”
“What we do know is that a party was advertised and all these individuals from other provinces came to our province,” Scott said. CNN. ‘About 90% of the partygoers came from other provinces.’
“Last night was so hectic trying to get some really good, solid information,” Scott said. “It was very difficult with the number of victims and the chaos that prevailed.”
The province will hold a meeting on Monday to discuss the future of establishments such as Club Oasis.

Scott himself believes that residents should avoid these types of late evening events.
“I think right now you’re taking a risk on your life when you go to these big events,” Scott said WTVA.
“We’re seeing too many cases of gun violence and this seems to be a trend.”
The investigation is ongoing.
