If you want the best that SteelSeries has to offer in PC/PlayStation headsets, but understandably don’t want to pay more than $300 for the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, then you’re in luck. The next best thing is the Arctis Pro Wireless, and it is $139.99 at Best Buy (was $279.99). This model isn’t like most of the company’s other headsets; Instead of having to charge the entire headset when the battery runs out, you can simply replace the battery with an extra battery that comes in the box so you can keep gaming. They all claim to deliver around 20 hours of use, and what’s not in use can be charged in the included base station.
Speaking of which, the Apple TV-like base station is another distinguishing feature, as it allows for easy sound adjustments, plus the ability to switch between audio inputs (you can connect two systems to it). The Arctis Pro Wireless also offers Bluetooth connectivity with phones, and can seamlessly incorporate music, calls or podcasts into the game mix. The base station can be connected to any gaming console that accepts USB (PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, but not Xbox), or to sources that have an optical audio port.
