One of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives has been arrested in North Wales after more than two decades on the run, according to US intelligence.
Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, was among the FBI’s “most wanted terrorists” after two bombings in the San Francisco, California, area in August 2003.
Two bombs exploded on a campus in Emeryville, a biotechnology company, an hour apart in the summer of that year. Air reports.

The National Crime Agency arrested the 46-year-old, who is believed to have links to ‘extremist animal rights groups’, near Conwy in North Wales on Monday.
It is believed he was arrested at a property in a rural area near a forest.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday as proceedings began for his extradition to face charges in the US.

The National Crime Agency – the UK law enforcement agency – together with North Wales Police and Counter Terrorism Policing, arrested Mr San Diego near Conwy on Monday.
